Where The Action Is: Foundations of Embodied InteractionPaul Dourish's book Where The Action Is: Foundations of Embodied Interaction is my favorite book of the moment. He does a great job explaining physical interaction design, justifying it as a practice, and detailing the consequences of that practice. He also covers a lot of history of embodied interaction and ubiquitous computing and discusses some philosophical roots of his thinking, all in a very readable style. If you're involved in physical interaction design at all, you should read this book. Posted by tigoe at April 3, 2005 10:18 AM |
