Nifty DC motor driver

Here's what looks to be a nifty DC motor driver: The Solarbotics L293 "secret" motor driver. From the look of it, it's just an H-bridge and associated components mounted on a board. But it's a nice board. It fits perfectly into a servo body, in place of the servo driver board, so you can convert a servo into a 360-degree gearhead motor. It can be attached to other DC motors too, from the looks of it. At 2 for $20, they seem to be a nice and reasonably cheap way to get a motor driver without having to build it yourself. The data sheet is online too.

My L293 arrived, along with two modified servos from Solarbotics, and it's incredibly simple to solder and put together. Direction control requires two pins for digital input, and a third pin is PWMed for speed control. Highly recommended.
